About Us

PetParadiseBlog is dedicated to helping pet lovers provide the best care for their furry (and not-so-furry) companions. Founded by Heidi Summer, a linguist with a master’s degree in English, German, and Slovak, the blog combines language expertise, creative writing, and a lifelong passion for animals.

Animal Experience

My journey with animals began at a young age and has grown into years of hands-on experience. I have cared for a variety of small pets, including hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, and turtles. Over time, I’ve developed a strong understanding of their care, nutrition, behavior, and the unique needs of different species. This real-life experience shapes the practical and honest advice shared on PetParadiseBlog.

Creative Work and Writing

Writing about animals allows me to connect creativity with real-world knowledge. My goal is to create content that is both engaging and genuinely useful for pet owners. I also enjoy writing children’s stories about animals and exploring foreign-language literature, combining imagination with practical insights. Some of these stories are brought to life through AI-generated videos on my growing YouTube channel.

Publications and Future Plans

I have published one e-book in English and plan to expand with additional language editions - Slovak, Czech, German, and Spanish - as well as bilingual versions.

Collaboration with Experts

PetParadiseBlog is supported by collaboration with a veterinary technician, combining personal experience with professional insight. This helps ensure that all content remains reliable, relevant, and useful for everyday pet care.
